A 29-year-old man faces drug trafficking charges after Thunder Bay police seized cocaine and fentanyl from a south-side residence Wednesday.
Officers responded to a call for assistance at a home in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street at approximately 9 a.m. MT on July 17. Police found a man inside who was not a resident and arrested him.
The suspect was under a court order not to be present at that address, Thunder Bay Police Service said.
Officers seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl, along with cash, a knife and drug paraphernalia.
The accused is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, failure to comply with a probation order, and failure to comply with a release order.
He appeared in court Thursday and remains in custody. A future court date has been scheduled.
